I first picked up a 35mm camera at the age of 14. By 15, I was also doing my own film and print developing as well. I was the one and only photographer my high school newspaper had, so I spent the majority of my time in the school's darkroom. In college, I worked for the campus paper as a photographer as well. In my adult life, photography became a hobby, then a serious hobby, then a career and now a form of artistic expression. I still do some professional work on the side, but not as much.
